Renewals

About 4 minutes

See every account renewing in the next 90 or 180 days, ranked by the revenue renewing, with the promises due before each date.

Transcript, 30 seconds

Which customers renew soon, and what do we still owe them?

Renewals lists every account renewing in the next 90 or 180 days.

Each row shows the promises due before the renewal date, late ones first.

The source of each date shows beside it, and a CRM date always wins.

Finish what is due before the renewal call.

Before you start

  • A connected CRM with renewal deals or account renewal dates, or a renewal date typed by hand
  • Kept promises on those accounts

Steps

  1. Open Renewals. Press Renewals in the sidebar, under Revenue. Accounts are grouped by how soon they renew and ranked by the revenue renewing, each account counted once.
  2. Pick the window. Choose Next 90 days or Next 180 days in the tab strip.
  3. Read the promises due first. Each row lists the open promises due by the renewal date, late ones first. Those are the ones to finish or talk about before the renewal call.
  4. Check where the date came from. The source shows beside each date: the CRM renewal deal, the CRM account, Stripe, a typed date or a contract. CRM disagrees means a typed date is more than 7 days from the CRM's, and the row ranks on the CRM's.
  5. Type a date. Under Set a renewal date, pick the Account, fill in Renews on, and From contract if a kept entitlement holds the date, then press Set renewal date. A typed date never replaces a CRM date.

What success looks like

  • Every account renewing soon shows a date and its source
  • The promises due before each renewal have owners and linked work

Troubleshooting

Connect a CRM or type a renewal date
No account has a renewal date yet. Connect HubSpot, Attio, Salesforce or Pipedrive on Connect, or type a date under Set a renewal date.
A typed date does not move the row
When the CRM has a date, the row ranks on the CRM's date. Fix the date in the CRM, or the row keeps showing CRM disagrees.
