What customers asked for
Group the same request across every wording and account, ranked by the pipeline it alone blocks, and send it to Linear.
Transcript, 30 seconds
What are customers asking for, and what is it worth?
Asks gathers one request across every wording and account.
It ranks by the pipeline the ask alone blocks.
Merge two rows that mean the same thing, or split one apart.
Send the top ask to Linear in one press.
Before you start
- Kept promises and discarded asks from the last 180 days
- A connected CRM, for the money columns
Steps
- Open Asks. Press Asks in the sidebar. Each row is one request, gathered across every wording, with the accounts that asked.
- Read the money. Pipeline that mentioned it is every open deal that raised it. Pipeline it alone blocks is the rank: deals waiting on this ask and nothing else.
- Tidy the groups. Press Merge to join two rows that are the same ask, Split the ticked ones off to separate wordings, or Not an ask to drop one.
- Send to Linear. Press Send to Linear to open an issue for the ask, or Open to see the issue it already has.
What success looks like
- The top row is the ask that blocks the most pipeline alone
- Sent asks show their Linear issue in the Roadmap column
Troubleshooting
- An ask is split across two rows
- Tick both and press Merge.
- The money columns are empty
- Asks reads deals from your CRM. Connect one on Connect, or confirm the deals read from your mail.
